Where am I based?

I am a local photographer with over 15 years of experience based in Brisbane, Queensland. I am flexible to work anywhere in South East Queensland/Northern NSW on short notice. Special travel can be arranged for interstate work so please feel free to contact me regarding this.

What do I specialise in?

I specialise in no-fuss product photography typically in the Brisbane area. Looking to take the stress out of these decisions and make my client’s life easier. I can be engaged for styling and sourcing elements, or simply arrive on the day to capture the moment.

Product Photography: My capabilities include saleable product photography (i.e. items) for print and online. I can deliver etched eComm photos, styled social photos as well as polished retouched photos.

Food Photography: I have extensive experience working with restaurants in Brisbane to capture their menu creations with food photography.

Videography: I look forward to achieving affordable video work for clients that is striking and clean. Having previously owned a bespoke production company I can operate high-end camera systems for cinematic video results. I now find myself doing a lot more high-frequency work, capitalising on the digestible nature of social media and getting value for money video for my clients.

Drone Photography and Imagery: I am a CASA certified drone pilot (up to 25kg) with considerable experience capturing aerial imagery.

Pre-Production: I enjoy assisting my clients with styling and art direction, both strategising and sourcing elements for the best possible shoot.

Post-Production: I deliver images to suit my client’s needs whether that be for social, online, or print advertising.

Model Retouching: For 20 years I have recreationally painted hyper-realistic portraits which has made me well-adapted to model retouching. Perfect for your fashion campaign or to achieve a selection of outstanding images from your event.

What can you expect?

First and foremost I want to ensure my clients get the high-quality content they desire for a budget they can afford. Careful planning prior, including consideration towards art direction and controlling variables will always save time and money (in post-production). There are usually three main tiers of content services in terms of the desired end result:

1. Social: Perfect if your brand is looking to deliver a higher frequency of content, whilst keeping costs down. Basic editing to enhance images in Adobe Lightroom without comprehensive retouching (some additional editing time in Adobe Photoshop).

   Objective is to achieve a larger number of images and video in a smaller time frame.

2. Brand: Ideal for product centred content on your website or to be used to promote your brand externally. Considerate retouching/grading without going to the “nth degree”. Further enhanced content than the previous stage to deliver professional results that truly communicate your product.

   Objective is to achieve a lower yield of content at a higher quality.

1. Hero: looking to achieve that perfect shot that will be used to exemplify your brand. Extensive pre-production work is required to ensure the greatest possible outcome. This includes strategic art direction, styling, talent considerations and other required elements. Extensive retouching is typically required with images delivered at the highest possible quality.

   Objective is to achieve the very best. Pre-production, shooting, and post-production are all treated separately depending on your goals. Prices vary from shoot to shoot.

Where can we get our pictures?

Wherever the situation calls for it. I can meet you on-site or in a studio. I have a private at-home studio for fast turnaround of product photography.

What equipment do I use?

Canon R5 & 5Dmk iv.

I also use DJI drones and gimbals and own lighting equipment for most situations.
